The United Labor Policy Committee, formally organized December 14, 1950, consisted of representatives :from the American Federation of Labor, Congress of Industrial Organizations, International Association of Machinists, and the Railway Labor Executives' Association. It grew out of discussions on unification between the AFL and the CIO.
